Translation isn’t localization.

Traditional Chinese (Taiwan / Hong Kong) is a different market from Simplified — different script, different conventions. A perfect translation can still read as foreign. Below is the same skincare page in three states. The content never changes; only the design does.

SIMPLIFIED ≠ TRADITIONAL

Traditional isn’t “the same site in another font”.

Taiwan and Hong Kong read Traditional characters, set in a Traditional typeface (Noto Sans TC) with their own spacing — and their own trust and shopping conventions. Localizing for Traditional is its own design pass, not a character swap from Simplified.
